MR33 introduces the ShimFix – made by BoomRC. The ShimFix will help you with one of the biggest and most annoying issues in RC racing – the lower roll centre!
As we all know, it is often a huge effort to adjust the roll centre between runs.
Especially when time is short, changing the shims takes a lot of patience – they have to be positioned exactly so that the rocker arms can be fitted cleanly again.
It is particularly annoying when you have to put 2-3 shims underneath to get the right size.
This is where the MR33 ShimFix comes into play!
The solution is very simple:
ShimFix helps you to position the shims precisely and quickly – without fiddling, without frustration.
The ShimFix “clips” elegantly around the shims installed in your car and you can then simply hold them in place and remove them after loosening the screw – without anything falling off.
Three different sizes are available:
For shim diameters of 6-7 mm
For shim diameters of 8-9 mm
For shim diameter of 9-10 mm
All you have to do in advance is measure the outer diameter of your shims – and then select the right tool.
